Except/Even If Week 1

When many consider following the Lord, there are barriers that can be hard to overcome. We want to follow the Lord, EXCEPT: We don’t want our lives to change. We want to believe what we’ve always believed.We’ll need to get some of what we desire out of it.

But, to follow the Lord, something has to change. Our “except” has to turn into an “even if.” Lord, I will follow You EVEN IF: My life has to change. I have to give up much of what I’ve believed. You don’t give me what I want.
